Senior Interior Designer & Project Coordinator – ADID, B.Comm
Andy is an Interior Design and Project Coordination professional with substantial design and construction experience across multiple sectors in the UK, North America and South Asia. He offers exceptional creative and technical skills, and outstanding client management and presentation abilities.
With international working experience and a passion for sustainable design, Andy has proven abilities in conceptualizing, coordinating and delivering through all RIBA stages on major design projects including multi-unit residential towers, bespoke homes, luxury seniors living residences, performance arts spaces, restaurants and educational facilities.
In Toronto, he was a designer for five years with the pre-eminent firm Tomas Pearce IDC where he lead teams and worked closely with individual clients and developers to create exceptional, well designed projects such as the 42 story residential tower, The Bond for Lifetime Developments.
Prior to arriving in London, Andy was based in Southeast Asia where he was the Senior Design Coordinator for an extensive, multi-million dollar campus renovation project at the American International School Dhaka In this role, Andy managed the consultant team and oversaw design development, construction drawings, feasibility studies, reviews and coordination of architectural, structural and MEP drawings and LEED documentation. He also collaboratively prepared reports and reviewed schedules, requests for proposals, quotations, and product import invoicing and scheduling. Andy was on-site daily, monitoring progress, problem solving and building capacity with the contractors on the project construction.
In London, Andy has worked on a multi-million pound luxury home and numerous F&B projects. Most recently, Andy was a Senior Designer at the award winning studio STAC Architecture. Leading a talented team, he delivered unique and innovative restaurant designs through all RIBA stages for a major UK brand. His design for Nando’s Southgate in a Grade II* building was short-listed for the 2018 London Bar and Restaurant Design Awards.
