The American International School Dhaka (AISD) engaged Perkins Eastman’s New York office to develop a comprehensive schematic design for the 5-acre AISD campus. Andy was hired to oversee the design development and tender packages, and lead the project into construction on site in Dhaka. The schematic design was revised in consultation with the facility manager and considerable input from the faculty, maintenance, and IT departments. He coordinated local and international consultants to develop and build this 3065m2 (33,000sqft), 3-level, state of the art educational facility. The existing building was fully refurbished to international specifications and code including comprehensive life safety upgrades, centralised heating and cooling systems, and fully integrated IT and A/V systems throughout.
